Sitting in the correct posture requires certain basic knowledge that puts lesser strains and stresses on our muscles while sitting. First consider how you want to place your feet. It is recommended to place both your feet firmly on the floor. But you can try positioning your legs in positions for finding the most suitable position which provides you the most comforts. Next, you need to consider your pelvis. Make adjustments against the surface against which you are sitting. Adjust by moving your pelvis in sideways and back and forth for finding the most comforting position. Also, never hold on to one position for a longer duration and change it by frequently moving yourself for the most comforts.

Further, you need to consider positioning your spine and trunk. Think of a string that holds you from your head to the top of your to the ceiling in an upright position. Rest your arms on your sides and bend your elbows in 90 degrees so that your shoulders come in hanging position. This relaxes both your arms and shoulders and avoids any slouching. Then you need to consider positioning your head and neck. Use the base of your skull for positioning your nose that would comfort both head and neck. Finally, you need to soften you eyes and mouth for the ultimate comforting experience. Never keep staring on the computer monitor continuously for a longer duration. Open your mouth for keeping an 2mm distance between your teeth with your tongue resting firmly on the floor and the tongue tip pointing downwards.

While making yourself comfortable before the your computer at home or on an office chair, you need to consider moves in inches and millimeters that make your sitting comfortable and relaxing.
