All About Acne

Acne is a common chronic inflammatory disorder, which occurs due to excess secretion of oil from the sebaceous gland present in the skin. It generally appears as pimples in youth, especially teenagers. These are not incurable skin diseases and can be healed easily by taking adequate medications.

However, these pop ups diminishes by time, but the same becomes rigid in the form of nodules, abscess and cysts if proper treatment is not taken on time. In minor cases these ugly growths may appear as black heads, white heads (papules) or pustules. Another kind of acne is acne vulgaris, which are bigger in size and last longer than any ordinary acne. It develops due to the settlement of dirt and other pollutants on your skin. But those that particularly affect forearms and chest areas are known as Keratosis.

The psychological impact of these irregular eruptions is that many start skipping their schools, colleges or other public places to avoid general derision. Acne basically takes place because of hormonal changes that occur in body and this gets depleted naturally with the years. So, there is nothing to fear about as these little boils are only the effects of changes that place in our body. Oily and junk foods prevent enough supply of oxygen to the follicles by blocking them and gives rise to the development of acne or pimples on the skin. Frequent touching and squeezing of acne leads to several skin infections. So, it is better to control these nasty habits and wash your face multiple times throughout the day. Today, there are many acne cure products available in the market that claim to diminish them in a couple of days, hence opt for natural and healthy treatments to alleviate acne to avoid your risks of getting skin allergies.
