One of the normal emotions in human beings is anger. Nature has given this as an outlet to release the built up emotional pressures but then at times this very normal activity can run crazy and bring you disaster. Though it is normal to get angry, you shouldn’t let anger get better of you. To control your anger, you should know the limits. It is easy to identify these and anger management is simple.  Check the following:

Anger management will be required when it is out of control. You can identify this when -

  • When you are angered with every possible thing which puts you into discomfort or annoys you. If you find someone obstructing your way, you will be mad.
  • When you are in a hostile way or cruelly   yell, rant, hit, or plot revenge, you anger has gone out of control.
  • Anger persists to shake you even after the causing event has disappeared. Normal anger will only be temporary.
  • When your anger is out of control, thing which wouldn’t make angry usually, also rake up your ranting.
  • When you are indulging in things which can destroy you, like driving recklessly, alcohol abuse or unsafe random sexual intercourses, – all of these suggest your anger is out of control.

This situation can be managed by –

  1. Taking out the annoying reason which is making you angry. Someone may be disrespecting you, someone is luckier than you may be causing your anger. Try to take them out of your view.
  2. For a moment step aside and ask yourself why you are mad. You will you’re your anger is misdirected.
  3. You will know what triggers your anger. Avoid such people or places, and when you have to encounter them, try to chasten your mind to act calmly.
  4. If your time management is poor, your anger management will also be poor; you should properly plan. You will react with anger when someone causes you to slow down. Instead of this have a plan ready to effectively manage time.
  5. De-stress your boy by exercising.  It can also remove stress from your mind. As a result regular exercisers will not be annoyed easily.
  6. Anger blinds reasoning power. Therefore to get it back into action, talk things out.   Taking out can diffuse many a volatile situation.

For teenagers, especially anger management is a must.  It is the time when you are progressing, and it is the time when you react to injustices or perceived injustices strongly. Your mind is still young and fresh and it would like to see that  justice is done to your career, your love life or your partner.  It will see a threat in anything that comes as a hindrance to these aspects during your teenage.  Therefore anger management becomes crucial to teenagers.  Practice the above restraining methods; you will be successfully controlling your anger.
