Beneficial Remedies For Asthma

Asthma is the very serious respiratory disease that creates shortness of breath by affecting the air passage. This will make the patient to get trouble while breathing, sleeping disorders, cough etc. There are two forms of asthma allergic asthma and non allergic asthma. This condition affects both children and adults. Asthma patients have high responsive airways which is narrowed or obstructed due to irritation and this will make them difficult to breathe. At present there is a device called inhaler or reparatory that is designed for asthma patients to open up their respiratory canal to allow proper air for trouble free breathing.

Causes:

Asthma can source from several significant factors such as:

  1. Environment (climatic conditions)
  2. Hereditary factors
  3. Food habits
  4. Allergies (food, drugs, perfume etc)
  5. Choked lungs
  6. Infection in the respiratory organs

Symptoms:

Patients suffering from asthma condition will have the following signs:

  1. Gasping for breath
  2. Congested chest
  3. Cough and wheeze
  4. Whistle sounds while breathing
  5. Thick mucus formation
  6. Irritation in chest

Home cure for Asthma:

There are many wonderful ways that can be done at home to get cure from asthma easily and inexpensively. Such natural methods for asthma relief are:

  1. Steam inhalation of eucalyptus or lavender oils to reduce pain and to open airways.
  2. Honey is the most effective stuff to treat asthma. Keep a jug of honey under the nose of the sufferer and within few minutes he/she will get easy breathing. It is also good to mix one teaspoon of honey with one cup of water and drink it thrice a day to get out of asthma problem.
  3. Boil raw garlic in one glass of milk and drink this thrice a day to get relief from asthma.
  4. Mix one teaspoon of turmeric powder with one cup of milk and drink this twice a day to cure asthma.
  5. Another effective asthma home remedy is to blend radish, honey and lemon juice together in a blender and cook it in low heat until it comes to a paste form. Take a small gooseberry size of this mixture and eat early in the morning every day for quick relief from asthma.
  6. Take juices of ginger and fenugreek and add honey to taste and drink this juice to treat asthma.
  7. During asthma attack it is suitable to give massage with mustard oil and camphor mixture to make them breathe easy.
  8. Drinking fresh cabbage juice regularly is another natural cure for asthma.
  9. Dry figs soaked in water can be taken in empty stomach every morning for one month for asthma.
  10. There are some herbs like Licorice, Coleus and Reishi that will act as expectorant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral agents and reduce allergy for easy breathing.
  11. It is fine to improve breathing by making tea with some natural stuff like chamomile flowers, Echinacea root, mullein leaves, and passionflower leaves etc.
  12. Eating Salmon fish once in a week or taking salmon oil capsules will allow good respiration.
