Best Healthy Diet Plan for Your Child

A balanced healthy diet is essential for proper development and the growth of the children. There are several recommendations in relation to nutrients and calorie requirements for children of certain age. Children by the age of five, should eat a similar diet like other family members, as they are still growing they need extra nutrients to grow properly. So, it is important for both family members and parents to follow healthy diet and eating habits.

Children’s Diet should include proper healthy foods in order to have balanced diet with an essential nutrient. Overall fitness and health of kids are totally depending upon their Diet. Presently, around the world, malnutrition and obesity are two major health issues found in the children.

Healthy Diet Plan for Kids

Breakfasts

  • Low-sugar content food items like milk diluted fruit juice or chopped banana.
  • Cornflakes with grinded nuts and chopped apple.
  • Toast with an egg, with plain berries and yogurt.
  • Raisins and Oatmeal.
  • Baked beans with toast.

Lunches

  • Tuna with Baked potato.
  • Green vegetables and Shepherd’s pie.
  • Macaroni cheese.
  • Lentil soup and Chicken.
  • Pasta with peas and ham.
  • Tuna sandwich

Dinners

  • Green beans with Omelet.
  • Lamb with roasted new potatoes in olive oil.
  • Tuna with vegetables and pasta bows.
  • Pita bread with sliced red peppers and chicken slices.
  • Salmon fillet with mashed ratatouille potato.
  • Mixed vegetables and Chicken.

Snacks

  • Cup of home-made popcorn.
  • Unsalted nuts and Fruit.
  • Cream cheese on grapes and oatcakes.
  • Smoothie made of red berries and of milk.
  • Unsweetened almond on toast.
  • Sliced celery and carrots with avocado dip.
  • Fresh oat pans with fruit salad.

It is recommended that fast foods, fatty foods and oily food, soft drinks, low-nutrient foods should be kept minimal. It is also important that the children must enjoy the food they eat; however, parents should ensure that their children should eat nutritious and healthy food.
