Body Rash Causes and Home Remedies

Body rash is the inflammation condition of the skin that damages skin and also know as skin rash. Body rash can occur in any part of the body due to various reasons and are not contagious. There are body rashes that occur in a particular spot and are called localized body rash and some rashes can occur all over the body and are referred as generalized body rash. Body rashes can be cured effectively by using effective home remedies in beginning stage and proper medication should be given on severe conditions.
Causes:
There are plenty of reasons for the occurrence of body rash like:
- Food allergies
- Eczema
- Allergies due to cloth or fabrics
- Sensitivity to cosmetic items
- Chicken pox
- Allergy to soaps and perfumes
- Climatic conditions
- Genetic factors
- Tuberculosis
- Leprosy
- Heavy dosage drugs
- Jewels
- Bacterial infections
- Impetigo
- Scabies
- Athletes foot
- Lice
- Various other skin diseases
Symptoms:
The major signs of body rashes are:
- Burning or stinging sensation over the affected region
- Severe itching and painful bumps on the skin
- Reddish color of the skin
- Rough and dry texture of the skin
Home remedies for body rash:
- Mix one tea spoon of Aloe Vera with some drops of cod liver oil, rose water, vitamin E oil and apply this over the rashes for quick relief.
- Olive oil also can be applied on to the rash to reduce burning sensations.
- Apply dry clay over the affected area and let it dry. Then wash it off and apply the mixture of vitamin C powder, comfrey root powder and goldenseal powder with water. This will soothe pain due to body rash.
- Keep the affected area clean to reduce the chance of bacterial or viral infection.
- Mix two cups of raw oatmeal into the water and use this water for bathing to get relief from body rash irritation.
- Prepare a solution using dandelion, yellow dock root and chaparral and apply this over night. This will encourage skin texture and remove rashes.
- Take the juice of mint and coriander leaves and apply it on the affected spot.
- Mix one teaspoon of turmeric and two teaspoon of sandal wood powder with little water and apply this paste over the infected areas. This will cool your body and reduce rashes.
- Apply coconut oil all over the body before bath. This will reduce body heat and gives better relief from itching.
- Chamomile tea can be used to wash the affected area of the skin.
- Baking soda can be applied directly on the infected skin to treat body rash.
- Prepare a mixture of 10 basil leaves with one tablespoon of olive oil, 2 garlic cloves, ΒΌ teaspoon pepper and pinch of salt. Apply this on the body rashes for effective cure.
- Eat nutritious diet regularly.
- Avoid too much of spicy, salty and oily food items.
- Avoid pinching or scrubbing the affected spots with nails as this will tend to spread in other areas.
- Wear comfortable cotton clothes to get rid of burning sensation.
