Body odor is the very usual phenomenon that occurs in children as well as adults due to several psychical and environmental factors. Body odor is resulted from sweat produced by the sweat glands. As the body sweats, there arise the bacteria sourcing unpleasant smell in the skin. The armpits and genitals produce sweat with bad odor. Body odor tends to affect your social life and so it must be treated by using easy home remedies.

Home remedies for bad odor:
- Keep yourself clean and hygiene by taking baths twice a day.
- Use medicated soaps that will cure body odor.
- Mix baking soda with lemon juice and apply it under armpits.
- Dry orange skin and powder it. Use this powder for body while bathing. This will control over sweat.
- Mix body cologne and other essential oil in water while taking bath.
- Dip a cotton ball in white vinegar and apply it underarms to reduce bad odor.
- Wear cotton clothes. This will absorb sweat and treat body odor.
- Wax your armpits regularly.
- To avoid bad foot odor wear clean shoes and socks.
- Avoid eating unhealthy food items which will lead to excess sweating.
- Drink plenty of water to prevent body odor.
- Keep potato slice under arms to control body odor.
- Eat wheat grass on empty stomach daily to overcome body odor.
- Apply a mixture of rose water and baking soda to your armpits to cure body odor.
- Do not use strong deodorants as this will cause serious body odor. It is advisable to use baby powder underarms to reduce body odor.
- Fresh turnip juice extract can be applied underarms to remove body odor.
- Mix tree tea oil in one ounce of water and pour it in spray bottle and this can be used as a deodorant to keep you fresh all through the day.
- Use a proper tongue cleaner and mouth freshener to keep mouth free from bad odor.
- A mixture of few drops of glycerine and radish juice can be applied to the body to remove bad odor.
- Apple cider vinegar can be applied to the under arms or can be mixed with bathing water to control sweat.
Tomato also can be used as a body refresher. Add two cups of tomato juice in your bath tub. This will keep you fresh and active.
