Causes and Home Remedies for Pimples

Some form of blockage in the skin pore results in pimples. Pimples normally occur during puberty due to hormonal changes. This condition is most common among youngsters due to the inflammation of the skin. Pimples appear mainly in the face and are medically termed as acne. These pimples are of various types like papules, whiteheads, nodules, cysts, blackheads, pustules etc. There are several beneficial remedies to get rid of pimples.

Home Remedies to Heal Pimples:

There are plenty of home remedies that can be put into effort to get rid of pimples for ever and they are as follows:

  1. Mix Multanimetti powder with rose water and apply this all over the affected areas and allow it to dry. Then wash with warm water. Do this for one month for better relief.
  2. Lemon juice can be mixed with rose water and applied it on the face and then wash with cool water.
  3. Grate one apple and mix it with little honey and apply this all over the face then wash it off with warm water and then with cold water. This will kill bacteria and refresh the skin.
  4. Applying honey directly on the face also will cure pimples.
  5. Aloe Vera gel can be applied over the pimples or can be consumed directly to wash off body toxins and to maintain skin health.
  6. Papaya fruit can be mashed and applied on pimples to get better relief.
  7. Peel and grate a raw potato and tie it in a muslin cloth tightly. Rub this content all over the face gently for some time and then wash your face. This will help to get rid of pimple scar.
  8. Take one tsp of cloves powder and mix it with curd. Apply this paste over the face and let it dry. Wash it off. This is the best pimple remedy especially for oily skin.
  9. Drink plenty of water and include fresh fruits and vegetable juices in your daily diet. This will cleanse your total body and prevent acne.
  10. Apply ripe tomatoes on the affected areas and keep it for an hour. Then wash it off.
  11. Choose medicated soaps suitable for your skin to prevent acne.
  12. Wash your face frequently to avoid accumulation of dust.
  13. Use clean and soft towels. This will prevent spreading of pimples.
  14. Apply the mixture of honey and cinnamon powder before sleep and wash it off in the morning.
  15. Don’t touch or prick pimples.
  16. Use branded cleansers and cosmetics.
  17. Fuller’s earth can be made into paste with rose water and apply on the pimples. This will absorb the excess oil and leave the skin free from pimples.
  18. Include plenty of sprouts in daily diet.
  19. Zinc supplements can also be taken under doctor’s advice to reduce pimples.
  20. Grated cucumber also can be applied over the face for treating acne.
  21. Marigold, wheat germ oil, tea tree oil also are helpful in healing pimples.
  22. Take peeled orange skin, dry and powder it. Mix it will water or lemon juice and apply on the face. This will cure skin cracks and remove blackheads.
