A sound sleep paves a healthy way of living and any form disturbances that is experienced while sleeping is called sleeping disorder. Sleeping disorders is the common name for several forms of sleep disturbing conditions like sleep apnea, snoring and insomnia. This condition disturbs breathing while sleeping and as a result persons snore or find it hard to get deep sleep. In most cases sleeping disorders are not realized by the person while sleeping. This condition should be treated immediately to avoid further dangers like heart disease, high blood pressure etc.

Remedies:
- Change your sleeping positions frequently and try to sleep on your abdomen of sides instead of sleeping on your back.
- Use proper pillows and you can elevate the height of your bed on the head position to avoid snoring.
- Have your dinner before two hours to sleep. This will relax your body system and gives you good night sleep.
- If you suffer from sinusitis, you can use nasal decongestants or sprays to clear your nostrils.
- Eat healthy food items that will keep your entire body fit and active.
- Exercises like walking, swimming, sit ups, crunches and yoga will help you to get proper work for your body and provides you better sleep at night.
- Breathing exercises can be done to inhale and exhale efficiently.
- Conduct polysomnography tests to measure your physiologic variables while sleeping.
- Keep your weight within measures. Over weight is the major reason for sleeping disorders and so it is good to avoid junk foods, oily foods and fatty items.
- Quit smoking and alcohol as they will reduce your breathing ability and block the air passages.
- Rinse the eyes with rosewater before going to sleep.
- Massage your feet, calves and shoulders using sweet almond or jojoba oil before sleep.
- If you are married you can involve in sex as this will make you relax and gives better sleep.
- Drink one glass of milk after dinner. This will provide you sound sleep.
- Keep schedule of your sleeping time and follow it everyday.
- Make yourself relaxed and calm by doing meditation. This will relieve stress and offers you good sleep.
- Make your sleeping place clutter free and calm. Wear comfortable clothes while sleeping.
- You can listen to some melody songs or music before sleep.
- You can rinse your ice with rosewater and add a drop of ghee to get rid of sleeping disorders.
- Combing your hair before going to sleep also will give relief from sleep disorders.
- Include poppy seeds, jatamansi in your diet and used rose oil, lavender oil and sandalwood oil for massaging. This will help you in obtaining peaceful sleep.
