Otitis externa is the scientific name for an earache or swimmers ear. This is a condition where the outer ear or the ear canal gets infected and experiences some kind of inflammation as well as irritation.

These solutions can contain a mixture of alcohol and white vinegar, white vinegar and apple cider vinegar, vinegar and distilled water, vinegar with boiled and cooled water as well as lemon juice. Many people also make use of olive oil in order to protect their ears from water and this also helps in preventing any kind of ear infection.
