Flatulence, in usual parlance is called as gas, which is a condition in which there is excessive acidity, in the alimentary track.
Causes of Flatulence :
Poor eating habits, especially consuming junk foods, oily snacks, can cause acidity and flatulence. If you are tensed up, and there are allergies to food, or if your stomach acids are imbalanced, flatulence can result. Digestive enzymes can also be a contributing factory, if they are not properly balanced.
Symptoms of Flatulence :
Main symptoms of this condition are cramping, burning sensation in the throat, stomach and irregular bowel movements, bloating, abdominal pain, farting, belching, pain and cramps in the body, sometimes shooting up to midsection, at times mistaken for heart ailments. Developing of plaques in the intestinal track, due to lack of enzymes to break down ingredients in the food also cause flatulence. When you drink milk, and if you do not have intestinal enzymes, to help breakdown the sugar in milk, lactose, this will lead to non-absorption of lactose, leading to fermentation of bacteria and forming of gas, which is released through the colon.
