There is no need to stuff the stomach to the point where one feels uncomfortable after having a meal this leads to lethargy and severely reduces the desire for physical activity. Eating several small meals throughout the day instead of two or three large meals will encourage the body to remain active and burn calories instead of becoming sedentary after a large meal.
Light exercise (even simple exercise) is an easy way to start losing weight. A short walk, stretching, tai chi, yoga, and dancing are all easy and fun ways to shed those extra pounds. It will also improve muscle tone while burning calories. An important thing to remember about exercise is that after several weeks into a light regimen, a persons weight may appear to be similar to earlier readings if muscle tone has built up; that is, a person who is now maintaining a steady weight may also be building lean muscle which will account for the seemingly non-existent weight loss the two pounds of body fat lost may have been made up by increased muscle.
All of the above home remedies are easy, and require little beyond small changes to one’s normal everyday life. And most of them are fun!
