How To Cure Eye Stye By Natural Remedies?

If you have painful and swollen redness on your eyelid, then you may be suffering from the stye. Stye is a common infection and resembles pimple or boils and appears usually around the eyelids. It occurs due to a bacterial infection or due to clogging of oil glands around your eyelashes. Stye is usually harmless and it does not affect your vision. However, it can transfer from one hair shaft to another if you will rub it to get relief from itching.

Causes of Eye Stye-

A Stye is usually caused by a bacterial infection in the sweat glands or oil producing (sebaceous) glands in the eyelid. The name of the bacterial infection is Staphylococcus aureus. Stye bursts on its own and can be healed within some days.

Good Home remedies for Eye Stye-

  • Triphala water- Add triphala powder in a glass of water and keep it stay overnight. After that filter, the solution and wash both eyes with this solution.
  • Coriander seeds- Add 1 tbsp of Coriander seed in the water and then boil it. Wash eyes with this liquid after cooling it at least three to four times in a day.
  • Alum- Mix alum water with a cup of water. Use this solution to wash the eyes; this will surely give you instant relief.
  • Tea Bags- Wet tea bags and put it on your eye at least 8-10 minutes. Try this several time in a day. It is useful for curing stye in an eye.
  • Potato- Paste of potato is also a useful measure for curing eye stye. Spread paste of potato on a cloth & apply it on inflamed eye externally. It can help you to get relief from both pain and swelling.
  • Acacia leaf- Prepare a concentrated extract of acacia leaves after boiling it with water. Compress the solution on eyelids; it will surely give you relief from this panic situation.
  • Turmeric-It is traditionally famous for its healing power.  It gives a person quick relief from an eye stye. To prepare the solution first boil it with water, coo it then passes it through woven cotton fabric till to remove all the turmeric granules. Apply it like an eye drop at least 2-3 times in a day.
  • Dandelion Tea- It has antibacterial power and help to fight with bacterial, which is the ultimate cause of the stye.
  • Clove- Soak a clove in water and apply it on the infected portion of the eye, it will give you relief from stye pain.
  • Guava leaves- Use warm Compress Guava leaves and put it in warm damp cloth, apply it over the eyes. It will reduce the redness, swelling and pain in your eye.

These are the best and effective natural home remedies to treat an eye stye and are also beneficial for relieving you from pain and swelling in your eye lids.
