Deep Vein thrombosis is the condition where blood clot in your deep vein. It obstructs the flow of blood from the feet to heart. It is mainly common in legs which causes pain and swelling and leads to several forms of complications. It has the ability to spread into your thighs.

- Venogram is special dye which in injected into the vein to diagnose the blood clots.
Treatment of DVT
- Medicines-Anticoagulants medicines are used to treat DVT which changes the chemicals in the blood to stop the formation of clotting so easily. It includes heparin and warfain.
- Compression stockings-By wearing this relieves you from pain and swelling. It also prevents post thrombotic syndrome.
