The omega 3 fatty acids are responsible for providing help against heart disease and strokes and also in avoiding some cancer. Additionally, salmons also contain selenium a major antioxidant mineral. Make sure to buy wild salmons as they contain higher omegas than Atlantic or farmed ones.
