The lives of women today have undergone a lot of women and they do not bear any resemblance to the lives of women in the past generations. They follow very fast and hectic lifestyles and a lot of toxins are being absorbed by their body through the antibiotics, which they consume, and the household cleaners, which they use on a regular basis. Anemia due to the deficiency of iron in the body is a condition, which is being faced by women all over the world today. But the body of women also requires a lot of nutrition in order to able to fight the harmful effects of toxins which are being inhaled by the body. Berries help in providing a lot of nutrition, which is essential for the health of women.

The main role, which is being performed by women in the food chain, is the process of preparation of food. But it is essential for women to have the knowledge regarding nutrition, which is needed for the body so that they will be able to prepare the right kind of food, which will help in providing their family with all the essential vital nutrients, which they require. Women who do not suffer from iron deficiency will have more strength to fight any kind of infection and they will also have the capacity to bear the pain of childbirth as well the bleeding which accompanies it. Many women who live in developing countries have been diagnosed with deficiencies in Vitamin A, iodine as well as energy. Women who are in their period of fertility or their child bearing years should make sure that their body gets a regular supply of folic acid and their diet should contain a large amount of folic acid. Women should also ensure that they consume Vitamin D and calcium in large amounts in order to prevent osteoporosis. Women who do not have the right amounts of Vitamin D will be able to get less than 10% of calcium for their body.

But today the role of women all over the world has changed. They play the dual role of the earning member of the family as well as the one who nurtures and cares for the children. Balancing these roles has lead to some kinds of deficiencies in childcare and the nutrition being provided to the child also suffers to a certain extent. Women should be educated and made more aware about the importance of nutrition for themselves as well as their families. The men should also be aware of how important it is to take care of the health of women and how they should ensure that every woman in their families get the right amount of nutrition which they require so that they can in turn keep their families healthy. The nutrition for women needs to be given more importance since they play many roles of being the financial provider as well as the reproducer in the family.
