There are certain cosmetics and medicines, which are used in the treatment for acne that can make the skin, become very dry and they can also cause a lot of irritation to the skin. It is always better to take the advise of your dermatologist before purchasing any kind of acne treatment products. Chemical peeling is one of the most well known methods of treating acne. Dermabrasion and laser abrasion are also some of the other well-known methods to treat acne. But the right kind of treatment should be administered at the right point in time in order to prevent the occurrence of acne scars. Every treatment should be tried for a period of 4-8 weeks before any kind of visible change can be seen.
