Say Good Bye To Insomnia using Home Remedies

If you cannot sleep you are suffering from Insomnia. Insomnia, literally means lack of sleep. There are various types of insomnia like facing problems in getting sleep, unable to sleep for long, awakening early, disturbed sleep.

Symptoms :

When you fail to fall asleep it is symptomatic of insomnia. Loss of memory, loss of coordination, confusion, and lack of attention are some other symptoms of insomnia.

Causes :

Sleeplessness can be directly caused by mental tension, pressure, worries, anxiety, over excitement, mental stress, dyspepsia, constipation, overeating, over consumption of tea or coffee, trying to sleep on a hungry stomach, etc.

Home remedies :

1. Take a glass of milk mixed with 2 teaspoons hone, which will function like a tranquilizer, helping your brain cells to relax, and as a result you can sleep well. Make this a habit every night. To get relaxed, you can massage your feet, with a bit of this honey-milk mixture.

2. Lettuce has lectucarium, which can induce sleep. Consume adequate quantity of lettuce in your salads, and its juice can act like opium to induce sleep, of course, without the effects of enthusiasm which opium brings about. Insomnia can be treated with Lettuce seeds, in a decoction. The decoction is prepared by boiling 2 tablespoons of the seeds in one liter water, till the water is reduced to half.

3. Curd cures insomnia, by cooling brain cells and giving you a good night’s sleep. You can massage two tablespoons of curt on your scalp, to get good sleep.

4. Honey acts like a hypnotizer. To get sound sleep, before going to bed, consume two large spoons of honey mixed with cold water.

5. Massage on your scalp, Bottle-gourd juice mixed with sesame oil, in the ratio 1:1. It can put you to sleep for a good length of time. Bottle gourd leaves cooked like a vegetable can also prevent insomnia.

To cure insomnia, supplement these home remedies with good food, having rich vitamin B supply. To relax your nerves, Vitamin B is helpful, and when your nerves are relaxed you will be able to sleep. If you are over stressed, and go to bed with your problems from office or domestic situations, you can never sleep well. Moreover if you do not sleep, the effects are many. First of all, you will not be able to ready yourself for your work the next morning, which begin a vicious circle in which you will be trapped and insomnia becomes rooted in your life. Don’t let things come to that extent. If you are unable to sleep don’t pop any chemical pills, but opt for the above home remedies. They will work, and you will sleep well.
