Super foods for your Brain

All of us have seen days where we felt like not being ‘on our game’. With time both body and brain becomes old. Though with smart choices we could preserve our valuable gray matter and maintain brain function. Here are some wise choices for keeping ourselves in top shape.

Blueberries are proven to shield our brains from stress, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease. Researches reflect that blueberry rich diets helps in improving both learning capacity and motor skills.

Despite being considered as fatty fruit, avocados contribute to decreased blood pressure and healthy blood flow. Lowers hypertension chances which can lead to stroke.

Salmon, a wise deep, fresh water fish is a good choice. It is abundant in omega-3 essential fatty acids necessary for healthy functioning brain.

Nuts and seeds are important sources of vitamin E. Vitamin E is required to stop decreasing cognitive functions. Peanuts, cashews, sesame, sunflower, walnuts and almond seeds are good choices too.

Oatmeal, whole-grain breads and brown rice contribute to healthy brain by lessening chances for cardiac disease. Promoting improved blood flow and healthy heart results in smart brain growth through nutrient ingredients and sufficient oxygen supplied by blood. Steady glucose streams supplied by complex carbohydrates increases brain capability. Dark chocolates contain several natural stimulants and strong antioxidant properties. These enhance concentration and focus and also encourage yielding endorphins. This helps in improving moods. Again, remember that moderation plays the key factor.
