<p>The reproductive system in a woman goes through many stages like the monthly menstrual cycle, pregnancy, post pregnancy, infertility and also menopause. These are some of the biological factors, which are responsible for the onset of depression in women. There are many psychological factors, which are responsible for depression like personality traits, physical, mental or sexual abuse. There are many women who go through depression during the initial stages of their married life due to the many new changes and adjustments, which need to be made in their lives.</p>
<p>Taking care of parents as well as the upbringing of children is two of the major responsibilities in the life of any woman. But today many women have joined the workforce and it has become more difficult to adjust the delicate balance between family and career. Women who are housewives suddenly find that they are completely lonely once the children start going to school or once they get old and their children have left home due to their own jobs and families. This is a period, which will last for two weeks after the birth of the child, and this does not require any kind of medication or treatment.
